[27 Oct 2006|02:35pm] Well me and dusty adopted a puppy over the weekend. He's adorable, but a pain in the butt! haha he likes to sleep all day and play all night, not much sleep for me and dusty! =) He's a Lab/German Shepherd mix, and his name is "Bubba", there's pics of him on myspace... Not much else going on, things are pretty boring around here! haha Work is going good, we're getting a new building, and should be moving into it next weekend...very excited about it, much bigger and with a sauna and more massage rooms...it's gonna be great! =) Well, hope everyone's good...We'll be in Wise this weekend, so call my cell...MuCh LoVe~ *CoMmEnT*

[03 Oct 2006|04:13pm] Things have been going really good lately! Dusty starts a new job Thursday, which I hope will be better than the nursing home! Friday was my *22nd* Bday...it was pretty good...dusty took me to JC to stay at the Carnegie Hotel, we got massages, went out to eat, shopped, got acupuncture, then met up with the family and went to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. Did shopping, putt putt, and all the normal stuff! It was a lot of fun! [16 Sep 2006|09:13am] [ mood | cheerful ] I'm such a slacker! We finally got internet over here so I thought I'd update real quick. I'm Alive! [31 Jul 2006|02:32pm] [ mood | cheerful ] I thought I would update to let everyone know that I'm still alive!! haha I haven't updated in a while....Married life is still going great...we moved to Kentucky last week, just for a temporary thing for now...he's trying to get a job over there, and if he does then it may become a permanent thing! =) It's much easier on me tho.... Work is going good too, can't complain! Dad has been in the hospital again...luckily not as serious as the last time...he's been there since Thursday and will hopefully get to come home tomorrow! =) Today's my brother's 19th BDay...it makes me feel much older! =) haha It doesnt feel like he should be that old....me, mom, him and dusty went to AppleBees for his bday and me and dusty got him a gift cert. to G2K.... Well if anyone wants to get in touch with us, you can try my cell phone, the computer we took over there is currently not working, but as soon as we get it fixed it'll be a lot easier....MuCh LoVe~ 1 ♥ *CoMmEnT*

[30 May 2006|09:46pm] Dad is doing better now...he was in heart failure b/c one of his valves was leaking fluid and he had too much in him causing his heart to work harder...they put him on meds and thats better...he has muscle damage to his heart from a viral infection (bronchitis and sinuses)...he was suppose to come home today but they want to do another test on him tomorrow to check out his valve to see how damaged it is...if its not severely damaged then he prolly wont have to have surgery....just still keep him in your prayers!! MuCh LoVe~ Also keep dusty's dad in your prayers...dusty and them had to take him to the hospital tonight b/c of ceizures....we all need prayers! =) 1 ♥ *CoMmEnT*

*prayers* [27 May 2006|03:26pm] Please keep my dad and my family in your prayers...they sent dad to Johnson City hospital yesterday, he is having heart problems and may have to have a valve replacement surgery if things are bad....hopefully they'll just be able to treat it with medicine....just please keep him in your prayers... 2 ♥ *CoMmEnT*

[25 May 2006|08:58pm] well i havent updated in a while...been pretty busy....currently i am sick with an ear infection and pharyngitis (throat infection) im quite miserble right now... also...dad got put in the hospital tonight so everyone keep him in your prayers....he had bronchitis and kept getting worse and almost passed out at the dr today, so they admitted him...so just keep him in your prayers....gotta go...MuCh LoVe~ oh me and dusty have a new address: PO Box 487 Wise, VA 24293 *CoMmEnT*

[10 Mar 2006|06:21pm] well the wedding went perfect!! I had the perfect day, and I wouldnt have done it any other way!! =) On our honeymoon, they messed up our reservations, so they gave us an extra night free, well they messed that up and so we got mad and left on Wednesday instead of Thursday...but all in all we had a great time!!! We came back and got all our paper work changed...so i'm officially Mrs. Cowden =) haha its gonna be a weird change! =) If you all need to get a hold of me...I wont be on the computer much, you can call our house 328-3550....thanks to everyone who came and helped with the wedding...love you all!! [04 Mar 2006|07:54am] [ mood | excited ] so today's the big day!! everything i think is ready....I finally got my dress, thank goodness! Rehearsal went really good last night....all our parents and g-parents cried at the dinner....haha it was funny...his family had a slide show of pics of us and friends and family....it was very nice, i loved it! I actually slept good last night...I was so worn out that it wasnt that hard! haha however, my dog kept trying to wake me up...he knows something's going on b/c he slept on top of me most of the night...=) well gotta finish loading my stuff up...see some of you later today!! stress.... [02 Mar 2006|10:11am] [ mood | stressed ] so its 2 days before the wedding....and I DONT HAVE MY DRESS!!!!!!! so i havent been stressed about it til this morning, and I still don't know when i'm gonna get it...i've called and left messages, but no call backs....I'm gonna turn into bridezilla if I don't get my dress today!!!! hahaha They said they would have it altered and ready for me in a week ....its been over a week! I've been pretty calm so far, but today is a different story...the guys have their tuxes, and the girls have their dresses, but i dont have MINE! i'll be glad when this is over....too much stress for a person to handle! hahaha Tomorrow, me and Leah are goin to get manicures and pedicures...then I may stop by Generations and get some Reiki done....I think that will help me alot right now....then we have rehearsal at 6 and the rehearsal dinner at Hotel Norton afterwards....hopefully all goes well!!! well i gotta head to work...keep your fingers crossed for my dress....haha..MuCh LoVe~ 2 ♥ *CoMmEnT*

*5 More Days* [27 Feb 2006|08:55am] [ mood | excited ] shew i cannot believe that the wedding is in 5 days.....THANK GOODNESS FOR WEDDING PLANNERS....I highly reccommend getting a wedding planner...I originally didn't want one, but I am very thankful that we did anyways....she has done EVERYTHING and it is so less stressful... This past weekend me,mom,dad, and matt went to Gatlinburg for my last "family" trip haha we mostly just went to shop! =) I figured I'd get most of my shopping outta the way before me and Dusty go, so that he's not completely miserable....=) We had a good time tho, so I'm glad we went... Today we're going to get our marriage license...=) and then i gotta meet with the wedding planner to look at the flowers and decorations to make sure I like them! *Need a head count* [15 Feb 2006|08:31pm] [ mood | ecstatic ] well Valentine's Day was great....for the most part! haha Dusty got me a BEAUTIFUL diamond ring, had flowers sent to me at work, and then cooked me dinner...it was all great!!!! However, on the way home from work, i PLOWED into a freakin deer!! hahahaha Scared the crap outta myself and prolly the deer....luckily, neither one of us appeared injured....my car....is ok! It luckily survived with only a couple dents in the hood....I am very thankful that it was nothing worse than it was.... Wedding plans are coming right along! Need a final head count on everyone who is coming to the recpetion...that way we have enough food for ya! If you havent sent your reply back, please let me know something!! Thanks! [13 Feb 2006|10:18am] well things are getting closer....in less thatn 3 weeks I'll be getting married! I am completely excited! We got tons of stuff from our shower and people are still getting us things....we are so grateful for everything! My lingerie shower/bachelorette party is this weekend...=) anyone who wants to come is more than welcome! bored [05 Feb 2006|08:52am] [ mood | giddy ] Well I'm bored so I thought I would do a quick update....today is our household and tool party....I'm glad it didnt snow a whole lot...maybe ppl will actually come! haha I can't believe we're finally getting married....it seems like we've been trying forever to get this far, and its hard to believe that in a month we will be married!! [30 Jan 2006|09:45am] [ mood | excited ] well i thought i would give a quick update since i hadn't in a while....things are going good...wedding plans are coming together finally! haha we just have lil details left, thank goodness....working on the flowers and decorations! Me and dusty are doing great...we are so relieved that we are finally getting married...i'm getting really really excited! =) Our guest list keeps growing, most of the invitations have been sent out, still a few that i haven't sent yet....but they will be sent today!
